In sloppy 2ft conditions the team of Vanessa, Jenni, Lisa, Bec and Suzie put on a put on a good performance in round 1 to place 2nd after Manly and knock Bondi 3 out of the comp. Unfortunately the girls were outclassed by more fancied rivals Trimmin Women's from Newcastle and Bondi 2 in the semis but had fun nevertheless. North Narra girls won the final and the northside club now hold all 3 tag titles the Men's, Women's and Grom titles.  

Congratulation again girls you did us proud. Hopefully we can take the next step in 2009 and make the final. Also a huge thanks to the support crew who made the trip north to cheer on the girls and cheers to Jim Beam for supporting Women's surfing. Keep an eye out for the photos in coming weeks.
