The count down begins for the coveted ' Paul Baxter Shield'

With only two weeks remaining until the annual Paul Baxter Shield surfing positions are filling up fast, so once again we want to remind you that there is a limit of only 80 surfers (4 x teams of 20) able to compete on the day. Currently we have over 60 paid surfers so you will need to hurry if you want to surf.Surfing positions are not secured until payment is actually made. Time is running out fast so see me ASAP if you are keen to be part of a team and surf in one of the best events of the year.

This year to make things a little more interesting and to keep teams as fair as possible for all you conspiracy theorists out there, we will be having an ‘Official Teams Draw’ drawing out the team's from a hat at the Sands Hotel on Friday July 18 at 6pm in the beer garden section.

This will also double as the final registration night before the event. So why not come down and see what team you are drawn in, and also sign up if you haven’t already!  As usual we will also be doing the 20 schooner raffle.

If you have any questions or just want to slap down your $10 bucks to be a part of it, give Hickey a call on 0402 830 767.
