Just a quick congratulations to Adam "Addsy" Lawrence for winning the much contested over 28's division of the Southside on Saturday. Cunning and strategy were what helped him over the line in the end ... Good job Ads.

Needless to say, but Hickey was disappointed he left his wetsuit at home, but really the surf was just too big again ... maybe next year Hickey.

Not sure at present how the other guys went, but stay tuned for further updates.

Now go surfing.

just some news on the 2008 southside titles. adam semo finished 4th in the opens final could have finished higher but he received a paddling interference and had his 2nd best wave score halved. carl merlo richards finished 2nd in the under 18s well done boys.

congratulations to young semo and carl both southend boys have qualified for the state titles adam in the opens and carl in the under 18s well done boys carve it up at the state titles good luck.
