Registration day at Southend was a huge success, great weather even though Tim Bailey upset everyone on Friday forecasting rain. There was sun, tunes, waves, snags and ice cold drinks.
Thank you to all past, present and new members signing up for another year of competition and showing your support again in our club and allowing us to bring together surfers from all over the sydney area and beyond.
If Saturday is anything to go by, then 2010 for Southend Boardriders Maroubra is going to be big. Which is a great acheivement following up on our 25th year in 2009 where the members and club went all out to make one of the closest competitive years in the history of man kind.
After everyone was filled up on snag-onion sangas and 80+ members all slowly made there way out into the surf or traffic.
The day was finalised by some very energetic death metal singing, moshing and more surfing.
