The forecast for SE Queensland is in and it looks set to be epic.

That new high cell is expected to bring a welcome change in the wind to a more SSE to SE direction, prime for the SE QLD and NE NSW pointbreaks. At this early stage wave heights shoud start the week in the 4-5ft range and build into the solid 6ft range by Wednesday. That pattern of solid surf then seems to persist into the end of the week. We'll have more of the picture dialed in by Friday, especially with respect to the challenges posed by TC Olga......but the news is good.....very good.

Looks like we'll be in for some action so stay off the bongs and durries to get those lungs up to capacity boys.
