PRESS RELEASE – OCTOBER 7, 2009

3 MONTHS TILL ENTRY DEADLINE

The inaugural Fish Eye Film Festival is well underway with a call to entries having been out for 6 weeks now.

There is now a little over 3 months until the entry deadline of Jan 15th 2009, giving those that haven’t even started or those tinkering with an idea still plenty of time to get one in.

The interest and feedback for the event has been amazing and organisers are quietly confident of receiving many quality entries from leading film makers within Australia and overseas.

As an added bonus the organisers would like to also welcome Dakine and Jart Skateboards onboard as event sponsors. Adding further to the prize pool and credibility of this festival.

Once again the Fish Eye Film Festival is a short film competition where entrants must submit films with the boardsports of snow, surf or skate. With a huge prize pool up for grabs and some serious credibility this is the first event of its kind and planned to be the first of many in years to come.

Stay tuned for announcements soon on event location and our expert judging panel.

Specials thanks to these supporting sponsors: STM, Tracks, Frothers, Swellnet, Dragon, Australian & NZ Snowboarding, Boardworld, Skullcandy, Dakine, Jart Skateboards, Fuel TV and Australian & NZ Skiing.
