September comp went off with a gust, we had howling off shore winds and second grade dust storm on hand to run another event filled day.
We secured the left – right bank off the boat ramp at southend and got the day under way.
Early on we held the Womens final, in 3rd place was Phoebe Miley-Dyer, 2nd Jenni Lee, and 1st place Olivia Miley-Dyer.
Cadets and juniors had a ball in the slick off shore wind grabbing a bakers dozen of slots in the green room. Wave of the day was Lewis Kellicks forehand hands behind the back barrel and clean exit.
Cadets final results 1st Daniel Coote, 2nd Nick Kennedy, 3rd Tom Kurz and 4th Jackson Giles.
Juniors Final Results 1st Lewis Kellick, 2nd Harry Bartlett, 3rd Sam Barron, 4th Jake Nurmi, 5th Judd Atkins.
For the grand masters and Senior Mens the standings are so close at the moment that any one can take the gong this year, with some upset placings and some really late take offs the results are;
Senior Mens 1st Epic, 2nd Con, 3rd Adam Mather, 4th Roy Buchan.
Grand Masters 1st Graeme O’Reilly, 2nd John Sorley, 3rd Tom North, 4th Brad Koolis, 5th Don Giles, 6th Lloyd Suttor.
Opens final got the left overs of the day, but still ride able. Drop ins and blow ups had every one talking, the final results were;
1st Shane Booth, 2nd Matt O’Reilly, 3rd Luke Fletcher, 4th Adam Seminara.
Micros and Under 14s got plenty of waves between them, so many the judges sheet had to be counted twice.
Micro boys 1st Max Mcguigan, 2nd Tye Koolis, 3rd Luke Michaels.
Micro girls 1st Kirra Lowlett, 2nd Chloe Buchan, 3rd Sami Goldrick.
Under 14 1st Mia Wearne, 2nd Tori Black, 3rd Madelin Nurmi, 4th Haylee Baird, 5th Tayla Buchan, 6th Hayley Frasa, 7th Montana Picthall.
