The results shown are not technically correct.
The column which shows the 'Total' should only reflect the sum of the top three results so far this year for each surfer. This would more accurately reflect the position of each surfer were the rest of the comps for the season to be called off.
This would also place the surfers who have competed in less than all four comps in the correct higher position. For example in reality Gustavo is actually leading the Opens Division and DC is actually coming 3rd in the SMs
That said, how awesome are the current standings for the GMs ... Very exciting at this point
