Hey Hey its Saturday is coming back!!!
No, seriously, Im sorry but it really could be.
Another big week of footy has past and all the news is about Karmichael Hunt going to Gay-FL. Who really cares, if the bloke still likes league but is sick of tackling he should have just signed with the Roosters. Pretty poor week for tipping with a miracle draw in the coconut game, the Titans losing at home and Easts having a go.
Top score for the week was Spoony and DC with a pretty good 5 points. Hickey and Ferris scored a crappy 2 points getting only the 2 Sunday specials of the Eels (vs Cronulla) and Bullwogs (vs Bunnies) right. This leaves Brad still out in front with 110 and Mozzo outright 2nd with 106. Vern has now used an entire bag of quick set concrete to secure his spot at the tail.
Apart from footy, I thought during the week that Winny was selling his Broome St unit due to the fact that there were pictures of some fat guy surfing on the wall in the Courier ad. Opened my big mouth up the pub only to find out it was our new portly mate Wes. Speaking of Mr Windon, one member of our tipping comp was doing his best pre 1990's Winny at the Boardriders comp last week. The culprit was last seen at a underground night spot in the Maroubra Beach area all Tony Montana'ed out.
Date is cemented in for the tips BBQ on Sept 12. If things fall into place it could be either a 1 or 2 night trip down the coast or a good old fashioned BBQ and a few bucks on the bar somewhere around Maroubra so we can waste Brad's winnings.
