Souths finals march continues

The mighy mighty bunnies have continued on from where they left off last week, with an absolute smashing of those rum drinking, Queensland hillbilly horse rooting Broncos.

In what was almost (not quite as good as smashing the roosters) Souths best game of the year so far, Souths absolutely smashed the Broncos off the park winning 44 points to 12 at a sold-out Suncorp Stadium. It’s the first time Souths have beaten the Broncos in Brisbane for 20 years.

From my calculations (mind you I didn’t do school that much at Waterloo Public in the 60’s) Souths now only need to win 4 games out of the final 7 to make the eight. I do know more than anyone not to get too excited just yet, but at least we have given ourselves an outside chance with that win.

Max the blow in Queenslander was seen death ridding us whilst watching the game at 'The Wickham' Trannie Club (in the Valley) but nothing could stop the razzle dazzle dominant Champaign footy from the bunnies.

Rabbitohs five-eighth Sutto-Boom was outstanding for Souths, playing a hand in six of the Rabbitohs’ eight tries, with Ex-South-eastern Seagull centre Beau Champion scoring a hat trick and fullback Nathan Merritt a double. Broncos prop and Rabbitohs 2010 recruit David Taylor scored for the home side in the 55th minute and is looking a good buy for next year. Tony De Las Heras had to be stretchered from the field when he fell and had Tonie Carroll’s knee connect with his head.

Sutton was the ring master for the Mighty Rabbitohs as Souths attack basically all come from him. It was good to see the big fella back having a go. The Rabbitohs now go on to play arch rivals and wooden spoon bound, latte swirling, camp as a row of tents Sydney Roosters, in the second leg of the Ron Coote Cup in Monday Night Football in round 20.

South Sydney Rabbitohs 44 (Beau Champion 3, Nathan Merritt 2, Eddy Pettybourne, Fetuli Talanoa, David Tyrrell tries; Chris Sandow 5, Issac Luke goals)

defeated

Brisbane Broncos 12 (Corey Parker, David Taylor tries; Peter Wallace 2 goals)

oh please, Souths couldn't look after one of their own, & now he's off to eat Sushi & get Geisha girl lap dances? I noticed Uncle Russell wasn't that keen to top him up, so as they say, "Give me Sushi, Give me cash, fuck you Souths, I'm doing the Dash?" Thanks Wingy, loved your work @ The Roosters, we provided you with a Premiership ring????<br>Plus, if Souths can't beat Newtown Roosters on Monday night, Souths have no chance at all?
