Comp 01 for 2010 is on March 20

Southends first club contest of the 2010 year will be held Saturday March 20. If you havent aleady renewed your membership make sure are there nice and early to join up.

 
2010 Registration Day

Saturday March 06. The committee will be taking registration applications and membership fees for 2010 between 12pm and 2pm in front of the Southend surf club.

Family Fun day this Sunday
The Mighty South Sydney Rabbitohs take on the Sydney Roosters this Sunday at ANZ Stadium. The Family Fun Day action will include a special petting zoo featuring all sorts of animals including rabbits and chickens a jumping castle as well as Rabbitohs kids tattoos and face painters so the kids can show their support for their Club on Sunday.

2010 Sign-up day
To become a member of Southend Boardriders for the 2010 surfing season you will need to come down, sign up and register on Saturday March 06, 2010. The new look committee will be taking registrations and membership fees between 12pm and 2pm. Come down and join us for a bbq and a few tunes.

Elura Boardriders wins Jim Beam Surftag NSW south stage of event. The new swell that has bless the east coast for the last three days set up for an exciting and challenging weekend for the 28 teams competing for one of 8 spots on offer to progress throgh to the Australian Surftag Championship.

Kirra Teams Challenge 2010
Southend has once again been invited to enter a team to compete in the prestigious Kirra Teams Challenge on the Gold Coast next weekend. This a 3 day surfing event starting Friday 5th February and going right through to Sunday 7th February.

Adam Seminara, John Sorely and eastern suburbs local Wylie Moyes have taken out the NSW leg of the Coastalwatch Surf For Life series held at Maroubra last weekend.

Momentous Occasion
Plenty of weary battlers woke up on Sunday with very sore heads after Southend Boardriders 25 Year Reunion Gala Dinner. I am pretty sure that most will think back and have very fond memories of Southends 'night of all nights'. Over 180 members, ex-members, sponsors, partners and members of Parliament packed into the sold out gig at the Swiss-Grand........read more
